******** SPECIAL EVENTS ********
PetSmart - "Second Chance
for Love National Adoption Weekend" - won't you join us in this celebration Saturday, September 11th and
Sunday, September 12th from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at the PetSmart in Fort Myers at Page Field Commons Shopping Center on
Tamiami Trail. We will have all of our adoptables with us and I'm sure you will enjoy meeting them all and maybe even
falling in love with one or two. Looking forward to seeing you there! 
St. James Episcopal Church "Pet Expo"
- this fabulous event will be held on Saturday, September 25th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the St. James Episcopal
Church at 1365 Viscaya Drive in Port Charlotte. This day will be filled with fun, contests, demonstrations, and vendors
selling products or services - and of course you will be able to meet the greyhounds and possibly want to adopt one.
There will also be two blessings of the hounds that day. Won't you join us at this fun event and bring the family including
the four footed family members. 
Macy's "Shop for a Cause" - this event is being
held on Saturday, October 16th at all Macy's stores and benefits local Charities. As a customer you can purchase a special
shopping pass for a $5.00 donation to the charity of your choice and when you shop on October 16th you will receive 20% (or
10%) savings on almost all purchases, including regular, sale and clearance merchandise, and 25% off a single purchase.
And, in addition to the savings you will be eligible to win a $500 gift card; no purchase is required to be included in the
$500.00 gift card. Please purchase a special shopping pass at your favorite Charity - Homeward Bound Greyhounds - and
help the greyhounds and also be able to enjoy the savings at Macy's. Homeward Bound Greyhounds will be selling these
special shopping passes at all of its' meet and greets until the day of the event - so hurry to get yours!!
